The 2011 Infiniti M position 2 out of 13 Luxury Large Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 18 published reviews and test drives of the Infiniti M, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.
Though all the reviews aren't in yet, most automotive critics are impressed with the 2011 Infiniti M.
For the 2011 model year, Infiniti has gone back to the drawing board. They’ve come up with a new full-size luxury sedan that, on paper at least, should be the equivalent of anything their German rivals have built. They’re also releasing it very early in the year, selling it as the 2011 Infiniti M five months before most 2011s are slated to hit the market.
But will anyone notice?
What the Auto Press Says
The automotive press likes the 2011 Infiniti M quite a bit. Then again, they liked the old M too.
The new model adds more power, sharper handling (thanks to a four-wheel-steering system that’s winning raves in early test drives), more luxurious interior materials, and a suite of high-tech safety features including a blind spot warning system that will actually take in excess of steering in order to avoid a collision.
The 2011 Infiniti M is also a hard car to ignore in the parking lot. Some reviewer love the look. Others believe it’s hideous. More than one has compared it to a fish. But no one fails to comment on it, which may be exactly what the Infiniti M’s designers had hoped for.
